Once your Club/Society has affiliated, you will be entitled to use the Students Union facilities for the groups official business and have valuable sources of information. Support services include:
- Advice from qualified members of staff on areas such as entertainments, event management, arranging sporting fixtures, finance, sponsorship etc
- Free Banking
- Use of Photocopier, Telephone and Fax
- Financial support and subsidy in the form of a grant
- Training courses for Committee members
- Information on approved suppliers of equipment or clothing
- Advice on Health and Safety and how it applies to you
- Eligibility for awards at the Sports and Societies Ball including Best New Club and Best New Society
- Contacts for National Governing Bodies, instructors and similar groups in other Universities
